Introduction
Coretek Enterprises LLC, doing business as Coretek 360 ("Coretek 360," "we," "our," or "us"), takes your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy describes what personal data we collect through coretek360.com (the "Site") and when you contact us, why we collect it, how we use and share it, and what rights and choices you have.
This Privacy Policy also describes how you can access, update, or request deletion of your personal data, and outlines privacy rights that may apply to you under applicable federal, state, or international law.
This Privacy Policy covers Coretek 360 acting as a data controller for the Site and for our business contacts. It does not cover data stored on equipment that customers send to us for disposition. That data is handled under our agreement with the customer, where we act as a service provider, and it is sanitized or destroyed as that agreement requires.
1. Personal Data We Collect
We collect personal data directly from you when you contact us, and a limited amount automatically when you use the Site.
Contact and Quote Requests: When you submit the contact form, we collect your name, your company or organization, your email address, the reason for your request, any message you write, and any files you attach, such as an asset list.
Newsletter: If you sign up for our newsletter, we collect your email address.
Communications: When you email or call us, we collect your name, contact details, and the substance of your message.
Customer Records: If your organization becomes a customer, we keep business contact details and records of the engagement, such as pickup contacts, quotes, and reports.
Technical Data: When you use the Site, our servers and hosting providers automatically receive information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, the pages you request, and the date and time of each request. We use IP addresses to limit abusive form submissions.
Analytics: We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand how the Site is used: which pages are visited, from which country and type of device, and which page led to another. It records no cookie and no persistent identifier; each visit is counted under a hashed value that changes daily and cannot be traced back to you. We see these figures in aggregate only.
Cookies: As of the date above, the Site does not set advertising cookies, and its analytics set no cookie. Our hosting and security providers may set cookies that are strictly necessary to deliver and protect the Site. A notice at the bottom of the Site tells you this on your first visit, and your browser remembers that you closed it. If you choose a language from the globe button, a cookie remembers your choice and Google Translate loads to translate the page in your browser, under Google's privacy policy. Embedded content, such as a video player, may set its own cookies or collect data when you play it, under that provider's privacy policy.
Chat Helper: The chat helper on the Site answers from a fixed menu. It runs in your browser and does not send your selections to us.
We do not ask for sensitive categories of personal data, such as health records, financial account numbers, or government identifiers, through the Site. Please do not include them in a form or an attached file.
The Site is not intended for users under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If we become aware that we have collected personal data from a minor, we will take steps to delete it.
2. How We Use Personal Data
We use the personal data we collect to respond to you, to provide our services, and to keep the Site secure.
Specifically, we may use personal data to answer questions and prepare quotes; schedule and perform services and deliver reports; provide support; send the newsletter to people who subscribed; maintain our business records; and send you communications about a request you made or a service we are providing.
We also use personal data to detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access; meet our legal and regulatory obligations; enforce our agreements and policies; protect the rights, safety, and property of Coretek 360 and others; and resolve disputes.
We may create aggregated or de-identified information that cannot reasonably be used to identify you, and use it for analysis and other business purposes.
3. How We Share Personal Data
We do not sell your personal data. We share personal data only in the ways described below.
Service Providers: We work with vendors who help us run, secure, and support the Site and our business, such as hosting and security providers, email and communications services, and the providers of the systems in which we keep customer records. These parties access personal data only as needed to perform services for us.
Business Transactions: If Coretek 360 undergoes a merger, acquisition, asset sale, financing, reorganization, or similar corporate transaction, personal data may be shared with or transferred to the relevant parties as part of that transaction.
Legal and Safety Disclosures: We may disclose personal data to courts, law enforcement, regulators, or other authorities when we believe disclosure is required or permitted by law, necessary to respond to valid legal process, or needed to protect the rights, safety, or property of Coretek 360, our customers, or the public.
Affiliates: We may share personal data with entities under common ownership or control with Coretek 360. Any such affiliates will handle personal data in a manner consistent with this Privacy Policy.
With Your Permission: We may share personal data with third parties when you direct us to or provide your consent to do so.
4. Retention
We keep personal data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, satisfy our legal and contractual obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
How long we retain specific data depends on factors including the type and sensitivity of the data, the purpose for which it was collected, and applicable legal requirements.
Server logs may be retained for a limited window for purposes including security monitoring, debugging, and abuse prevention.
When personal data is no longer needed, we and our service providers will delete, anonymize, or de-identify it in accordance with applicable law and our internal data management practices.
5. Security
We implement commercially reasonable technical, administrative, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal data against unauthorized access, disclosure, loss, misuse, alteration, and destruction.
No system or transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You should exercise judgment about what information you share through any online service, including ours.
Coretek 360 is not liable for the circumvention of security measures on the Site or on third-party platforms that may be linked to or accessed through the Site.
6. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on where you are located and the laws that apply to you, you may have certain rights with respect to your personal data. These may include the right to know what personal data we hold about you; access and receive a copy of it in a portable format; request that inaccurate data be corrected; request deletion of your data; object to or ask us to restrict certain processing; withdraw consent where our processing is based on consent; appeal a decision we make on your privacy request; and file a complaint with your local data protection authority.
To submit a privacy request, unsubscribe from the newsletter, or ask questions about your data, you or an authorized agent may contact us at support@coretek360.com. We may ask you to verify your identity before acting on your request.
We will not treat you differently or penalize you for exercising any privacy rights available to you under applicable law.
Coretek 360 does not sell personal data and does not share personal data for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under applicable U.S. state privacy laws. We do not use sensitive personal data to draw inferences about your characteristics or behavior.
7. International Data Transfers
Coretek 360 is based in the United States. If you use the Site or contact us from outside the U.S., your personal data may be transferred to and processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate.
Data protection laws in those countries may differ from the laws of your home country. When we transfer personal data internationally, we apply the protections described in this Privacy Policy and use lawful transfer mechanisms where required by applicable law.
If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with specific data transfer requirements, please be aware that your personal data may be transferred outside your region. Where required, Coretek 360 will rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
8. Jurisdiction-Specific Disclosures
Residents of certain states or countries may be entitled to additional disclosures or rights under local law. This section supplements the rest of this Privacy Policy for those individuals.
Where required by applicable law, we may provide additional information about the categories of personal data we collect, the purposes and legal bases for collecting and using it, the categories of sources from which we obtain personal data, the third parties we share it with, and the retention periods that apply.
Such disclosures may appear within this Privacy Policy, in a supplemental notice, or through a separate notice made available on the Site.
9. Privacy Policy Changes
We may revise this Privacy Policy periodically. When we make changes, we will post the updated version and update the date shown at the top of this page. If the changes are material, we may provide additional notice, such as an email notification.
Your continued use of the Site after an updated Privacy Policy becomes effective constitutes your acknowledgment of the changes.
10. Contacting Us
